• Adjust the tension of the garters for balanced support (neither too tight nor too loose)
• Make sure the seam, if present, is straight at the back of the leg

Gently gather each stocking down to the foot, then gradually roll it up the leg. Before attaching the suspender straps, make sure the seam is centred along the back of the leg.
